{Beloved Vendors} A note about sponsors

I want to talk about our sponsors today. And I want to talk about my decision to allow advertising on Wed4Less Northwest.

This was a tough decision because I, and the rest of the Wed4Less team, have a strong commitment to budget brides & grooms. Initially, the idea of having a commitment to sponsors and balancing that with our commitment to couples was daunting.

We want this blog to forever be about couples and the choice to save money while wedding planning, not about hiring out for absolutely every part of your big day.

At the same time, there are a lot of really beautiful, really gracious vendors out there, and we want to celebrate that. So, here's to our sponsors who are all amazing! And here's to balancing without sacrificing!

Our current sponsors and a word from each on why they offer their services/products at budget-friendly prices:

Artistic Impressions by Tera is a Portland-based photographer whose packages range from $300 to $1,675. Tera offers clients a traditional, yet unique style.

I know all of the different aspects of planning a wedding can really add up fast. I also believe it is SO important for the bride to have a professional photographer for her wedding, since it is me [the photographer] who provides her with all the memories that may have been forgotten.

Blush Celebrations is a Seattle-based event planning company that has coordination packages starting at $500 and monthly meet-up packages starting at $1000.

I believe everyone should have someone there to watch the minutes of the wedding day; it's the couple's job to live in the moments. Having a wedding coordinator was once considered a luxury, but I feel like even the everyday, more practical folks should be allowed the same peace of mind.

Moose Mark Photography is a Post Falls, Idaho-based photographer who has wedding packages ranging from $250 to $950. Moose Mark takes inspiration from the location of the wedding to determine their treatment of photos, making their style vary from wedding to wedding.

I want it possible for every kind of budget to have beautiful photos. I don't think my quality or work is less than other photographers, but I wanted to have a fair price and reach more people who are on budgets, which with how the economy has been, is a lot of people.

Kaptured by Kelly is a Tri-Cities-based photographer who has wedding packages starting at $450. Kelly loves taking candid photos, capturing the real moments of celebration.

I don’t know how many times I’ve looked back through pictures and I can still remember very detail about that moment that picture was taken… everyone deserves to have that feeling.

Fascinate Me, LLC is an online etsy shop that sells veils & other great wedding accessories starting at $20. Fascinate Me offers accessories for every style.

When I planned my wedding, I was surprised at how outrageous bridal accessories were just because they're for your "big day." I decided to make my own fascinator, and my business just took off from there.

Wagner Bros. Photography is a Walla Walla-based photographer who offers wedding packages starting at $750. Wagner Bros. specializes in timeless & traditional photography.

While in college, I found that many of my friends were getting married, but at costs of over $1000 (in the '80s) to hire a professional photographer to capture this memorable occasion, many of them were not getting the photographs they truly wanted.
