Where I've Been

Hello dear readers,

This is an open letter to the hundreds, and sometimes thousands, of you who look at this blog every day. I want you to know that I love seeing your comments, the pageviews on the site creeping up. I love seeing that you still visit.

As you know, I haven't blogged here since July. Unfortunately, after my wedding, I had one family emergency after another and my health was in shambles. I decided to take time off to deal with that. For  those of you who don't know, I am a college student. About the same time I got my health under control and my family was doing better, school started again.

For the year and a half that I wrote this blog, I spent about 20-30 hours a week working on posts and research for the site. I also worked roughly a total of 50 hours a week at two other jobs, and I was a full time student. I was tired, and my health and grades were slipping between my fingers.

Once the school year started again, I had a decision to make: Continue writing on Wed4Less and go back to sacrificing my health and my education for something that I truly loved, or give it up in order to meditate on what I really wanted long-term. I chose the latter, keeping the option open to go back to writing on Wed4Less. I couldn't go forward with the blog, but I also wasn't ready to give it up completely.

You, my readers, have been amazingly loyal. It is my hope that the posts that I have done up to this point will help you in planning your budget-friendly wedding. Unfortunately, I have re-evaluated my life and have decided that, although I am still very much in love with all things wedding, I cannot give Wed4Less the time and attention that I would like while also devoting myself to the passions that will take me into the future.

If you want to see what I've been up to, you can follow my personal lifestyle blog at herbivoreculture.blogspot.com, where I talk about the food I'm eating, the things I'm doing, and my life.

Thank you,

Lindsie
