{$550 Look} Ballerina Chic

I received the latest J. Crew catalog in the mail yesterday. (Tip: collect catalogs from high-end stores, and peruse them for inspiration; it’s cheaper than buying bridal magazines.) This is what I saw:

J Crew Ballet Cover

And I was inspired. Ballet inspiration in weddings has been cropping up all over this year. No Impact Bride featured a wedding with a few ballet-inspired details last week, Elizabeth Anne Designs a sweet bridal shoot in June, and the list goes on.

And this look doesn’t have to be expensive. In fact, here lies a gorgeous ballerina chic bridal look for $331. Yes, I said three hundred and thirty-one dollars.

The dress: A vintage 1950′s pale pink number, from Portland-based etsy shop Coral Vintage
$200

The headpiece: A pearl & rhinestone headband by Spokane-based etsy shop Brass Lotus (by the way, I’m ecstatic about this find!)
$25

The jewelry: An aquamarine & pearl necklace by Bellevue-based etsy shop NORIK
$74

The shoes: Ballet flat-inspired salmon shoes from TopShop (no, not Northwest)

I seriously hope you’re as enamored as I am. I’m off to email the seller from Brass Lotus (my FAVORITE find of the day), just to tell her how in love I am. :)
