{Wanderings} & Fun stuff!

I'm posting these wanderings quickly before running out the door to the Spokane Bridal Fest! I'm so excited to see all of the vendors and the fun.

Like when I went to the Spokane Engagement Party, I'm going to this event as a bride. Although I love sharing advice and experience and struggle with you, my readers, and although I love networking with vendors for the blog, I also enjoy experiencing things as the bride-to-be that I am. :)

So I'm going to wander around, gather ideas, enter giveaways and then come back to report on everything for you! :)

Advice

Green Wedding Shoes featured their top 10 tips on having a DIY wedding, with perfect advice like including textures in your decor and having offbeat details.

Want to get your wedding dress for free? Check out this post from Cris at Budget-Savvy Bride to find out how.

Catering can be expensive, but this poster on Broke Ass Bride offers advice on feeding 40 people for $3 each!

DIY Projects

This Boho Bunting from Green Wedding Shoes is to die for. I mean, it includes lace, photos and other adorable elements! Gorgeous!

The Wedding Chicks posted some really fantastic stationery pieces this week, including a printable calendar save the date card and a printable chevron pattern invitation.

If you really love the look of thumbprint tree guest books, but don't want to shovel over tons of cash for it and don't have the skills to make one yourself, check out this printable design on Offbeat Bride!

Real Weddings

Ruffled featured a crafty and utterly budget-friendly Florida wedding this week. I love all of the sweet paper elements, and the color scheme is gorgeous.

Also worth noting is this San Francisco wedding featured on Snippet and Ink. This couple saved on their food costs by hiring a few food trucks to "cater" their wedding!
