{Real Wedding} DIY Backyard Fete

Okay. The test are over, and I'm officially yours. :) I'm sharing today a gorgeous DIY backyard wedding from Kristin Brown Photography! (Yeah, we like Kristin Brown Photography, as you can probably tell from the last few weddings we've posted.)

Trey and Sarah celebrated their day for just about $7000 in Sarah's parents' backyard in Bountiful, Utah.

From the bride:

I saved a ton on my dress! I got married in a different dress than my actual wedding dress—one that I still wear when I go to an LDS temple, which reminds me of the day I got married each time I put it on. This allowed me to think of my actual wedding dress as more of a party dress, so I rented it! I was able to get the perfect dress that would have been way over my budget otherwise. I totally recommend it!

Like a lot of the couples we feature here on Wed4Less, Sarah and Trey had a lot of help from their friends and family. They had a family friend who did the flowers, and another one who baked the cake.

{Real Wedding} $4K Country wedding

Since we had some technical difficulties with posting yesterday, we have a lovely real wedding for you today! We have another Utah wedding from Kristin Brown Photography! (If you missed the first one, check it out here.)

The wedding of Luke and Jade was done for $4200! I'm always amazed at how budget-savvy couples can be! This bride and groom scored some awesome deals, like their reception venue for $25.

From the bride:

My husband had the idea to do the reception at The Pioneer Park which is actually church property. They only charged us 25 dollars for the whole day. I got so lucky with how beautiful it was though.

From the bride:

I felt like pictures are the most important because pictures say a thousand words and they are memories I can hold onto forever.

And oh my gosh, I LOVE her veil. So gorgeous! Who's with me?

From the bride:

My most special moment was when me and my Husband were waving our goodbyes and driving away from our reception in his decorated truck. I just looked at him and started to cry and said, “This is the best day ever. I feel like Cinderella right now; I just feel like a princess who is leaving to make her own happily ever after story.”

Jade and Luke had so many family members help them out. Jade's grandma baked some sweet breads for their bread bar, she and her mom bought the decor at thrift shops, and her aunt put together the centerpieces.

From the bride:

There are so many talented people around you, I think how I did my wedding so cheaply is I asked around. People are always willing to help out. All you have to do is ask.

Those centerpieces are just so chic and yet simple. How easy is it to find a bunch of bottles? (I know, I've been doing this for my wedding!)

{Real Wedding} Pink DIY in Utah

Okay, so Utah isn't exactly the northwest, but it's close. And this wedding (as well as a few others that this photographer sent to me) are just so irresistible in their lovely DIY and budget-ness that I couldn't help myself!

Kristin Brown Photography got some great photos of all of the little details in this LDS wedding, which was done for just about $6000.

From the bride:

One thing that I feel like I saved on was my dress. I knew exactly what I wanted but I wasn’t sure where I would find it so in result of that I had it made. Having my dress made was fun because it was exactly what I wanted and I saved a lot of money.

From the bride:

Everything about the day turned out to be blissful. The weather was perfect and the day was just as planned.  Nothing went wrong and it was great to be able to spend such a special day with family and friends.
