Heather and Jacob got married in Tacoma at the chapel on the campus of the University of Puget Sound, and had their reception at the Washington State History Museum. It was all captured by Clane Gessel Photography.

From the bride:
I also saved a lot on my dress by buying the sample. It had been in the bridal salon for six months and no one had ever tried it on, so the owner just wanted to get rid of it.
From the bride:
I also was planning on splurging on invitations because I believe they set the tone for the whole event. HOWEVER, I ended up winning an essay contest and got $350 off the total cost of our invitations, so we only ended up spending about $500 ... but that is still a splurge for us!
From the bride:
Our first look was incredible. I was so nervous the whole morning, but the moment I saw my hubby all of my nerves melted away. We saw each other for the first time out on a long dock in a Harbor near our home. It was such an intimate moment, and we both shed a couple happy tears. I was so excited to show him my dress with pockets!
