DIY Projects

This wildflower & herb bouquet from One Lovely Day is just charming, and looks like it would be pretty easy too! Who's up for a fall feel in their bouquet?

If you want a way to sparkle up your day, check into these tissue paper flower lights DIY from Sparkle & Hay. They are absolutely perfect for a twilight ceremony or for Christmas decorations!

Ruffled had a pretty sweet carnival marquee letters DIY on the blog this week. I think that if I weren't doing a European eclectic garden wedding, I would probably do a carnival wedding. They're just so fun!

These DIY kitschy flannel lights from Green Wedding Shoes would look perfect in any handmade wedding. I want to hang these in my living room, I think.

Real Weddings

Among DIY weddings, this one, featured on Style Me Pretty, might be king. It's so colorful and bright, and I can't help but fall in love with it!

This couple, posted on Green Wedding Shoes, had the help of all of their friends and family to have a gorgeous woodsy wedding.

The bride in this wedding has the perfect philosophy on wedding planning. A great quote from the post on Rock n Roll Bride: "It was important to Adam and I not to spend money on things which wouldn't enhance the guests' experience/our wedding day. I'd so recommend this to other couples; it's so easy to get caught up in having 'essentials' for your wedding which are really only essential because they make companies lots of money!" Yes.

Last but not least, here's a gorgeous backyard wedding on Style Me Pretty complete with an iPod reception and tons of DIYs.

Also, a shout out to all of the ladies and gentlemen who got married yesterday, especially at the 11.11.11 event in Tri-Cities! Congrats!
