{Inspiration} Sexy yet modest boudoir

The idea of boudoir photos scares me. There are very few boudoir shoots that I actually end up liking, because mostly I feel like they objectify women. And I get that they're for husbands eyes only, but for me that only helps a little.

But every once in a while, a boudoir shoot comes along that I think is just brilliant. A few months ago, it was the 60's-inspired boudoir on Style Me Pretty, which included all the loveliness and modesty of vintage lingerie. Today, it's this beach boudoir, shot by Daydream Weddings in British Columbia.

I shot this boudoir session as a stylized shoot to show ladies that you don't have to be "in the bedroom" or just in your bra and knickers to be sexy. Boudoir is getting really popular but I know some ladies are really nervous and shy about taking these photos and I just want to put it out there that everyone can be sexy and everyone deserves to feel sexy!

So ladies, you can put on those beach shorts and a lacy top, or really anything, for those boudoir photos!
